Vampires
One of the deadliest creatures to roam the night. The Vampire is a being who has ascended beyond the realm of mortality, becoming ageless and all-powerful. Only the mightiest of Warriors dare to look them in the eye, let alone face them in combat. Both Human and Beast alike are able to taste the power of the immortal night-walker. All they need to do is find one of the fabled Stone Masks, or a Vampire willing to share their blood...
Traits:
Might of Undeath: Due to the immense strength a Vampire holds, their bodies are naturally more durable than others. Vampires have an extra Luck Burst to use in battle(Totaling to Four).
Feeding: During any thread, a Vampire can attempt to feed on a dead Character to gain more power. Once a Vampire decides to attempt this, they must spend at least one round feeding from the corpse. Should they be attacked during this time, they will be interrupted, and must attempt to feed again. Should the Vampire succeed in sucking the blood from their prey, they will gain 10% of the Victim's Soul Sync (cannot gain more than 2,000 Soul Sync from any one feeding).
In non-Fated Bout threads, the victim must have run out of Luck Bursts and be completely dead before feeding can be attempted.
Weakness to the Sun: Vampires, despite being powerful beings, are averse to sunlight. Simply being in the sun makes them feel nauseous, lowering their strength significantly. Hamon Users have an advantage against Vampires; any technique that employs the power of Hamon will innately Stun a Vampire if it hits them, regardless of the techniques other effects.
At 2,500 Soul Sync, Vampires can learn the Support Skill Sun Resistance to remove the adverse affects the sun-powered Hamon has on them. Hamon Variant techniques that specifically have Stun effects will still work as normal, however.
