Katherine sighed as she stuck her hands in her jacket's pockets. She was slowly strolling around the park. It was starting to get late when she first arrived in the city, but now it was dark. Only lamps along the sidewalk illuminated her way as she moved. She walked past a man, giving him a nod. He only seemed to grunt with an ugly look on his mug.
She rolled her eyes and her stand soon appeared out of her back, not that many people could really see it. It's hand slipped towards the man's back pocket, pulling his wallet out and tossing it into the air. Katherine caught it, and what normal people would likely see is that the wallet just seemed to magically fling itself out of his pockets and into the girl's hand.
With a sigh she opened it up, pulling out the money first. "Pft. Seven dollars? What a cheapo. You'd think people would have more money in the big city."

Rachael was sitting on a bench nearby, one leg crossed over the other, her arms stretched out along the back of it. As the two people passed by, she spoke up. "Evening" she greeted, giving them a wave and a smile. The woman was clothed in a simple blue, buttoned up, short sleeved shirt and blue-grey jeans, with a pair of white shoes on her feet. I should really get some new clothing... she thought to herself. Said thoughts were cut off as she watched the man's wallet seemingly jump out of his pocket. Seemed it preferred the young lady's company more.
Well she certainly could not ignore that, could she? That was just too curious to just sit there and not question. Standing up, she made a show of stretching, before she began to follow the girl, glancing up at the sky above to make it seem she was just going the same way.

Katherine gave a nod to the woman when she spoke. She looked nice. Had a fancy shirt, it seemed! The girl herself was wearing a rather old black dress that almost reached to her knees. She had knee-high stockings and her feet clad in work boots that went up to her ankles. And, of course, covering the dress was her aviation jacket. The back looked like it had an area that was patched up, the area around it stained.
She looked to her side. "Really. We've made, like.. 10$ now. Between three people. It's stupid." she muttered out. "Eh. Why am I even talking to you. You don't talk back. You just sorta.. Follow me around. Shame that guy died so fast before he could tell me what you were. But I guess that means you're real and junk." she said, seemingly talking to nothing. She tucked the money into her pocket before she went to toss the wallet to her side.
"I guess it's a good thing you don't eat. Would suck to.. Pay for two people.." the girl sighed, scratching at her head lightly as she frowned. She was oblivious to the person following her, still.

Rachael noticed the woman was speaking. To nothing....that she could see at any rate. Gaining a thoughtful look she reached down, picking up a nearby pebble. As they walked she raised her hand, aiming to flick the pebble towards the back of the girl's head. With a careful application of her vampiric strength, she shot the pebble at the girl. It would really hurt her, but it might sting if it hit. She had met a few people with 'spirits' following them. She used to be able to see them but after slipping into a deep sleep, recovering from her last big defeat at the hands of a hamon user, her power had diminished some.
Right now she could just sense people and their strength in comparison to her own. And that was if she was specifically trying to do so. Damn priest messed her up pretty good, she had to admit.

Katherine hummed a little bit as she was walking along, blissfully unaware of the woman's intent behind her. The pebble rocketed through the air before stopping midair, right behind the girl's head. Her stand had caught it before it hit her, holding it in it's hand before flicking it right back at the other woman.
"Huh?" she responded. She glanced back for a moment, surprised. "You following me or something lady?" she asked, curious. Was she another stand user?

Rachael simply leaned her head out of the way when the pebble flew back at her. Yup something was definitely there. When the girl questioned her, she gave a look of mock surprise. "What? Me? Nooo, I just happen to be heading in the same direction." She wondered if that fib would work. She gazed around at her surroundings, trying to appear as if she wasn't totally trying to experiment with the girl and her 'companion'. She wondered if it could inform her of what she did. Though probably not since she didn't seem aware of what just transpired.
"It's a lovely night" she said in a casual tone. "Though I have to wonder what a young lady like you is doing out so late." She gazed around again. Too bad the girl wasn't older. She'd feel weird trying to lure in a kid to drink from her. "Your parent's know you're out?" she asked, raising her wrist to check the watch around it.

Katherine stared back at the woman silently for a few moments. An eyebrow raised. That didn't sound too convincing. Could this woman be like the man? Well, it made sense. There was a lot more people in this huge city than in the smaller towns she was used to. Would possibly make sense that there would be more people like her in here. "Alriiight." she mumbled out.
Her stand, however, moved right between her and the lady as she went to look away. Seemed she tried to have a casual talk! "Pff." the girl explained, "As if, I will have you know that I am an adult." the girl stated, taking her hands out of her jacket pockets to rest them behind her head, starting to walk again.

Rachael chuckled, taking a few quick steps to place herself beside the girl, walking alongside her. "Are you now?" she asked, giving her a friendly smile. She doubted the girl's words but decided to play along. "Well still pretty dangerous to be out and about so late at night. Why, I got almost mugged the other day." she said. "He was awfully rude..." Pouting a bit as she remembered that incident. She wasn't afraid for her life....but thugs like that got annoying...
Judging by the girl's attire, she figured she had a decent reason to be stealing. The vampiress could understand that. Everyone did what they could to survive. It didn't matter who or what you were. but maybe a little prodding couldn't hurt. "All kinds of thieves around the city..." she murmured. She just walked along silently, waiting for the girl to realize what she was hinting at.
She had seen what she did!

Katherine looked to the side as she noted the woman had caught up to her. Her eyebrows raised up slowly. "Yes. I am." she stated as she stuck her hands on her hips. She still didn't really trust this lady! She was pretty creepy!
"Pshaw. I am not really that worried about that." the girl stated. "But yeah. Some people are pretty rude, I guess." she continued as she went to stuff her hands back into her jacket's pockets. The other lady continued to speak about thieves. However, Katherine didn't really get it. She was rather thick. Either that or she didn't really care.
"Okay? I'll keep my eyes open, then."

Rachael eyed the girl. Seemed she hadn't caught onto what Rachael was implying. She decided to just be more overt about it. "By the way, neat little trick you did back there." she said, referring to when she grabbed the man's wallet.....or when whatever was following her grabbed it. She still couldn't see it. Note to self, don't let yourself get grievously injured to that point again.... she thought to herself. She needed to get her senses back up to snuff.
As they walked, she gazed around. It was a lovely night. She should come back to the park more often.

Indeed the night was beautiful, one such as 'she' would of course become accustomed to such a saying with how life has turned for her. Once again Annie arose from her slumber to awaken in the early night to where the most fun was to be had. The average vampire nowadays probably did fine for themselves with the new information Annie had heard about. Though it seems she was not as lucky, Should she go out when that wretched oversized star was out there wouldn't even be enough time for her to scream in regret. Sitting up in her bed she looked again to the boarded up window. Stepping out of bed she stretched her arms back and let out a short lived sigh before once again doing her common routine during the night. She decided to wear her red outfit along with her blue striped straw hat today, not even taking the cane out with her. She decided to have her minion on hold for the night, she wanted to venture new york solo, perhaps she might even find those willing to give their lives to her. She didn't know why but for some reason she had been drawn to the Park a few blocks down. She swayed her movement in an alluring manner, as she continued to move about the city, it hadn't been long before she made it to the park. Looking about it was nearly empty, damn near soulless even. The street lights made it clear that a majority of the sidewalks had been void of any life a few people could have been visible but right now, this park was as good as a place for wolves to stalk their prey. Speaking of Which Annie caught the eye of two figures in the distance on the sidewalk next to the park, from where she could see they were both female, and one of them looked quite young. She didn't plan on killing anyone tonight nor did she plan to even now but something about one of those people attracted her. She began walking towards them on the far end of the sidewalk. She moved at her own pace, not moving very fast but her steps were unnaturally audible. Her steps rang through the streets as if she had been in a hollow room where the echo of a voice was easily heard. The closer Annie got the more visible the figures were and she noticed that there were not only 2 figures...but three and it was clear that the third figure she noticed was non other than a stand. She smirked when she saw it, that person must of been the one that had attracted her for some reason but then something troubled her, in front of that girl was another one...and as far as Annie could tell she either didn't have a stand or refused to show it. It wouldn't be long before Annie was about the two girls standing over them with her straw hat over her head, the lighting from the street light casting a shadow over her eyes. "Looky we have here..." She said with a smirk, holding her hands on her hips looking over the two. She tilted her head in a cute, curious manner. "Just two girls hanging out? How cute, two little lambs up and about the streets at such an hour..." She spoke with an alluring tone, not trying to either make the two uncomfortable or vice versa, but it was obvious that there was something very sensual about this woman.

Katherine glanced to the side. So she had seen that. Did she see her stand? Could she see it? If she could see it, then.. Well.. She probably had one of her own! Did she know what they were? Was she an enemy?
The girl moved to hop away from the woman she was standing next to. She dropped down, her stance widening as she brought her hands up in a mock combat stance. Her stand simply floated in front of her. "What! You gonna attack me, too? You got one too, or somethin'? I'll kick your ass, like the other one." she said. Her legs, however, were wobbling lightly. She had no clue what she was doing with this stance. She didn't even know any type of martial arts!
Well.. The other lady didn't know it. Neither did that other one. Wait, other one? She blinked, turning to the side so she could glance at the other woman who had shown up. Were all the ladies here somewhat creepy or what?

Rachael had known the woman was following them before she caught up with them. She could feel people or other beings' presence around her. After the mugger incident the other night, she had been wary of letting someone sneak up on her again, especially a normal human. It was embarrassing really. She didn't turn to look at the woman initially, instead gazing over to the young girl when she leapt away. "My, such hostilities. No I didn't plan on attacking you. I just wanted to note your little 'heist' didn't go unnoticed." she stated.
Turning her head to the new arrival, she gave her a once over with her eyes. "Cute outfit." she said, complimenting the woman's attire. She was a bit wary of the woman however. She could sense strength. No doubt she wasn't just a normal human.

"...hmmm." Annie would say looking to the girl with the stand she would watch as her defense would pick up, not only would she become more hostile but her stand would as well, taking its place in front of the girl. This made her have to think for a moment, she would look to the woman in front of the girl. While it appeared that the girl had been doing her best to be intimidating it was clear that she hadn't known what she was doing. Let alone any specific type of martial arts stance her legs were like shivering puppies, just as cute too.
Upon picking up on this Annie also noticed her outfit and could tell she either had terrible fashion or didn't have her mother dress her this morning. It seemed the girl had a history of being attacked but not so much a history of losing. Though, Annie's focus suddenly turned to the girl who was being threatened by the younger one, and only grew more curious about her. She didn't jump or get frightened by the youngin's stand taking it's place in front of her as if she couldn't even see it...or perhaps it was because she had been used to seeing them?
Annie completely turned her body towards the second woman who appeared to be stand less. "hey, you.." Annie would say, her hands propped on her hips, her stance loose and alluring. She would make her stand appear behind the woman, it would stare her down as if it were ready to attack her. "You didn't answer that girls question, can you see it? Do you have one of your own or were you born with the ability to see them without having them" Annie asked in a somewhat serious tone, WonderWall seemed ready to kill this woman based on her response. Annie looked back to the young girl and smirked before looking back to the standless woman.

Katherine stared at r-. Well no, she stared at the back of Eclipse who really seemed to insist on being in front of her right now. However, she decided to believe her words.
She dropped her pseudo karate fu stance and went to dust her dress off. "Yeah. Well. You ain't gonna do anything about it probably." she said, her hands coming up to tug on her jacket lightly, fixing it's position on her body and closing it up some. It was a bit cold at night.
Eclipse however, moved from inbetween her and rachael to inbetween her and the new woman! Katherine had caught a glimpse of it. Only a glimpse. But there was one there. Another one. A stand. She had one! She blinked a little bit as the woman seemed to demand stuff from the other woman.
Damn. New York was no joke.
