Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 52
Appearance:
Galileo is a six foot four monster. His body is the most ripped thing on the planet besides the grand canyon, probably. Has anyone ever caught him without a deliciously sexy brooding look on his face? We simply do not know.
He has scruff on his face and scraggly hair that is just long enough be both manly and unkept looking. With a dark piercing glare and scars covering the entirety of his body, his entire appearance gives of the aura of a force to be reckoned with.
This is only coupled by the fact that Galileo only fights at full capacity when almost entirely nude. He typically wears a tank top and relatively short spandex shorts with a scarf, but when he gets serious about fighting, the clothes burst off with a single flex of his irrefutably manly muscles. Left behind is only his flimsy white jock strap and heavy duty orange steel boxing gloves.
Class: Hybrid Hamon/Stand user.
History: Galileo was born to an upper middle class family living in Hoboken, just outside of New York City. The boy idolized superheroes, and was noted from a very young age to have a certain passion about him. His parents both commuted to the city every day for work, and although he received his early education in Hoboken public schools, by the time he was a preteen he was hanging around the streets of New York.
However, as he grew older, he really had nothing to do besides get into fights. While other children had built up angst over troubled home lives and personal struggles, Galileo liked to join in on the young teen violence simply because he had nothing better to do, and it gave him a drive.
Eventually, after hanging around and making friends with other kids his age who fought for fun, he became good friends with another 13 year old who was an exceptional standout fighter. A leader of the pack, the gifted David saw that there was more than just repressed anger driving Galileo, and that he had a powerful spirit.
As Galileo got closer with David over the years, David eventually revealed that his mother was actually a world renowned martial artist, and his training under her was what gave him his edge. Newly impassioned, Galileo spent months convincing David to let him train under his mother, Brenda Lee.
Once Brenda was finally coerced by David into teaching a young street fighter like Galileo, she immediately took him under her wing. Realizing from the moment she met him that his ability to learn quickly was driven by a powerful passion, she became essentially his adoptive mother.
Brenda taught David and Galileo to train naked on the top of her skyscraper loft in the winter, where the atmosphere was thin and the temperature was destructive. It was then when the two subconsciously learned how to harness the Ripple of the sun in order to keep their bodies from freezing.
David and Galileo grew up together, spending almost all of their time in their skyscraper arena. When Galileo went to high school, he was sponsored by Brenda, and was able to go to the same martial arts private high school as David.
With the two's basic capacity for utilizing Hamon, they quickly became two of the most dominant fighters in a school of dominant fighters, even as freshman. As they moved up through the ranks, their ability to channel the ripple only grew stronger. They abandoned their old street fighting club, for fear of seriously injuring the scraggly fighters who inhabited it.
But just when the two's luck couldn't get any better, tragedy struck.
On a warm May afternoon, Galileo and David were fighting on the top of Brenda's skyscraper apartment as per usual. As high ranking seniors in the esteemed martial arts academy, they both had amassed incredible fighting experience and were going at near full capacity in the pouring rain. Mid acrobatic maneuver, Galileo interrupted David with a surprise attack.
Not realizing his own strength, Galileo had knocked the wind out of his friend. David slammed to the ground, attempting to break his fall by landing on his feet, but slipping on the wet tiles.
He plummeted off of the skyscraper roof to his death.
Galileo's indomitable spirit was broken. The formerly 'perfect' student, driven by an unstoppable drive had come to a standstill when faced with his own murder of his best friend. Brenda, although sympathetic, couldn't bear to see Galileo anymore, overcome with the loss of her son.
Galileo never graduated. Overtaken by grief and unable to face his peers, he transferred back to his Hoboken high school. Swallowed by depression, Galileo lasted only a few days before dropping out of school entirely.
Burying himself in his room, with his entire support network gone, Galileo sought solace with even his absentee parents to no avail.
Locked in a dark room with nobody to blame but himself, Galileo hit rock bottom, losing every remnant of his previous life as a martial artist, including his strong will to live.
It was in the darkness of his room where after three years of depression, his spirit returned. When Galileo made the fateful decision to stand back up and return to his training, a manifestation came to him. Without noticing it himself, Galileo trained in the darkness of his room for two years alongside a powerful ally.
When the twenty three year old emerged from his self imposed prison, he was covered in acne, in the best shape of his life, and accompanied by a nine foot tall manifestation of his own fall and redemption. He assumed the white and gold superhero was something of a hallucination, a permanent scar of his depression.
Galileo bounced back, hard.
And just in time! Almost right after Galileo had pushed through his recovery, his parents, blissfully unaware of their son's struggles, decided that it was time for him to move out and be a productive member of society.
And so, Galileo spent his rather large college fund on a tiny suburban house in southern jersey with a nice big basement. He spent 15 years body guarding for rich politicians, and training in his basement completely nude. As his damaged spirit was repaired, Galileo's manifestation grew stronger and stronger, until it was undeniably providing him with advantages in the prize fights he took up.
And as he progressed in the ranks of prize fighting, he was surprised to find that other fighters possessed their own spirits, and he couldn't ignore the fact that they acknowledged him as one of their kind.
In one fateful match with another top tier prize fighter, Galileo's spirit fully manifested, transforming from a smokey spirit into a genuine silhouette, irrefutably real. Empowered by his spirit, Galileo destroyed his opponent, and decided now was the time to seek knowledge.
Preferring to use the internet than talk to the other fighters who had similar manifestations, Galileo soon found out that his spirit was called a 'stand,' according to some shady sources on the web, and realized that his stand was a sentient being. While it didn't seem to talk (it had no mouth), it moved independently of him and was clearly self aware.
Deciding to devote his time to reconnecting with himself, and therefore connecting with his stand, Galileo relied lived off of his prize money for a while, isolating himself in his basement and allowing his stand to teach him about himself.
The two formed a powerful nonverbal bond, and each seemed to know what the other was thinking just by a glance. Helping the superhero tap into his nearly limitless potential, Galileo was finally convinced that there was something real about this entity. His bond was deeper than some psychological scar, his ally's powers were too tangible to be hallucinations.
A seasoned martial artist at age 50, Galileo stood face to face with what he could only assume to be one of the most powerful gifts on the planet.
Now he just had to figure out what to do with it.

STAND: GALAXIE 500
Galaxie 500, or G5H for short, is a nine foot tall stand stylized like a superhero. He has a bolstering physique and a small head in comparison to his body, along with navy shadowing and yellow accent lines all across his massive pearly white skinned body. Various curved spikes and bulbs line his body, and he appears to wear grey boots and gloves. Indented into the middle of his chest is a strangely attractive blue orb, and his eyes are teal and appear to be made of the same substance. He also has a yellow diamond shaped gem on his forehead.
Galaxie 500 is adaptive, and driven by a spirit to improve and evolve just like Galileo.
G5H's cry is appropriately "BARA BARA."
STAND ABILITY
Galaxie 500 possesses incredible superhero like strength and pseudo invulnerability. His pearly white skin is also naturally extremely low in friction, which provides for part of his high durability. G5H's true power is his ability to store matter and some types of energy inside of a personal pocket dimension. He can store objects up to the size of a minivan. He can not store sentient beings against their will.
TRUMP CARDS
Blue Thunder Overdrive: Galileo aligns his breathing as Galaxie 500 strikes an exaggerated heroic pose. Overlapping their bodies, they release an explosion of energy while delivering a powerful blow that deals 150% soul sync.
