History: Many people know of the Salem witch trials. A series of events where many women were burned at the stake after being accused of committing witchcraft. However, while by every account these trials have been proven to be unsubstantiated or outright fake, there were indeed reasons that simply didn't survive into the public eye. While the vast majority of cases of "witchcraft" were simply tragic cases of Hamon being misunderstood as something else entirely, many cases report such events as things being pushed around, people being possessed by evil spirits, and a myriad of other things. If one bothered to do their research, one could logically connect each of these events as being the product of a stand not being under its users control, as well as the much more uncommon case of someone using their stand for their own selfish gains. While many women were murdered out of the fear of their supernatural powers, several of these women survived, keeping their powers secretive. This is the course of action that Amelia Sixx's ancestors took. While it is unknown where in the timeline of the family that the capability to use stands became common, it is known that they have possessed the power for quite some time.
While her family has possessed the power for a very long time, with each member of her family being born with their own stand, the vast majority of her family members choose to ignore their heritage, instead living a life seemingly as if they were being haunted. Yet, unlike many members of her family, Amelia had always been enraptured with the stories her grandparents told of their ancient ancestors, summoning forth the power of the sun or the power of a familiar. Even when she was only five, she found the stories of ancient witches and the powers they held to be amazing. Though her parents discouraged it when she was younger, finding the stories nothing more than fanciful tales-the result of the power of a stand not being present in her mother, nor her father-she never grew out of her fascination, taking every chance she could to learn more about witches and the seemingly magical world that they had lived in. Of course, it would only be a matter of time before she found herself thrown into that world herself.
As a young girl, strange things sometimes seemed to happen around Amelia. Candles tended to bend their flames a bit to point towards her, things mysteriously were either pulled towards her, or sometimes things fell off of counters or places when she was around. Of course, Amelia's family only saw the logical reasoning behind it. The candle bit was always attributed to a draft or open windows, while objects moving around were always attributed to either the house not being level, or the object in question just being haphazardly placed. This trend continued on for years, until Amelia reached the seventh grade. By this point in time, she had been given her first witches hat from her grandparents. Even though her parents had argued over the fact that they specifically asked for them to not twist her mind with their fanciful tales, nothing could change the fact that the young girl loved her hat. Despite the desperate pleas of her parents, she never was separated from her hat for very long. It always found its way back to her.
Unfortunately, the very moment she returned to school, her wide brimmed witch hat plopped on her head as always, she faced large amounts of bullying from nearly everyone. She slowly lost the few friends she had, the teachers who had originally been entertained by her excitable insistence that magic existed found themselves turning a blind eye to her predicaments, and for the most part, she generally found herself in lots of trouble. Sadly for Amelia, this would become common. The most common event however was someone stealing her hat and throwing it someplace she couldn't reach it. Once again however, the hat always found its way back to her. Sadly, each time it returned to her, the bullying worsened. Eventually, it escalated to actual physical violence being leveled against her. Thankfully, when it initially started, none of the violence was particularly bad. For another year she went without knowing of her stand. Of course, that didn't stop the paranormal events that had been happening since she was little from increasing in frequency, causing her parents to legitimately believe that their house was haunted. Of course, the investigation that they paid for turned up nothing, and afterwards, the events stopped.
For a time, things went back to normal. Amelia wore her hat, went to school, came home with her feelings hurt, but otherwise was okay. That was, until the day the bullying escalated. One way or another, she had drawn the ire of one of the more delinquent students. He physically harmed her. Smacking her around to get what money she had, turning everyone she knew against her with rumors, and just generally being a terrible person. By this point in time, the only source of strength she had to face the day were the stories her grandmother had told her about her family. These stories would soon prove to be more fact than fiction. One day, the boy who had been bullying her had finally tired of her outright refusal to let the bullying get her down. That simple trait, her endless optimism, brought the boy and his friends onto her like a pack of wolves. One day, after school was finished for her, she walked home. She had done so every day for many years. Unfortunately, this time she would not come home unharmed. The bullies were waiting for her at the first intersection on her way home. It started out normally enough. The main bully snatched her hat off of her head, and demanded money from her.
Of course, she had no money. She had given them what little she had earlier that day. They admitted to already knowing this, and the main bully did something that almost immediately set her off. Instead of just chucking her hat off somewhere, he pulled a pocketknife out, and slashed through it several times. She had tried to rush up to him, but his friends were faster, and grabbed her arms, keeping her held in place as the bully systematically cut her hat up into something barely recognizable. After that, he threw the torn up thing into the road, a car running it over soon after. As his friends held her, the main bully proceeded to smack her in the face, calling her a slew of names and asking her where she got off having the guts to remain happy when he was trying to make her life miserable. By this point, she couldn't say too much, still in shock that the one thing that helped her forge her own identity had been destroyed. Of course, that changed rather quickly the second time she had been slapped, causing her to shriek as she pulled fruitlessly to free her arms.
As she screamed and resisted however, none of them noticed how the dust and dirt on the ground swirled around their feet, swirling like upside down tornadoes as the dirt gathered, the girl herself screaming stop as the bully punched her repeatedly, beating her chest and stomach without mercy. After about the fourth scream however, she felt something..change within her. Almost immediately, all three of the bullies were thrown back as if they had been pushed by something rather forcefully, the main one smacking his head against the concrete, knocking himself out instantly. The other two bullies ran off after that, and Amelia stood on two shaky legs, having collapsed onto her knees from the pain in her chest and stomach.
She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. But, when she turned to face whatever had put their hand on her, her eyes widened. It was a gorgeous creature, in various shades of black and blue, floating just at eye level with her, its golden, pupil-less eyes exuding some level of comfort. She went home, the creature following close behind until she got to the door of her home, where it seemingly vanished. The following weeks would be a blur for her, even years later. All she remembered was that her parents pulled her out of school, and she started to see more and more of her grandparents. They replaced her hat, and even let her wear more and more kinds of witch-y looking outfits. Eventually she was pulled out of school entirely and was home-schooled. She learned plenty of normal things. But, aside Math and Science there was Alchemy and Divination. Alongside Physical Education, there was time spent honing her skill with her familiar. Every year, Amelia worked a year ahead of a normal student in terms of schoolwork, being convinced by her grandfather that this was what normal children were learning.
She took it all in stride, and by the time she was eighteen, Amelia had become a very well rounded woman, practiced in the use of her stand, and even told that normal people couldn't see it. She even had put together an outfit she was comfortable with that showed just how important her "culture" as a witch was to her. Her wide brimmed hat made a return, being much wider at the brim with a floppy tip, rather than the pointed tip the original had. She spent the next two years performing on the street, showing off her skills for cash, the unique powers she had serving to help her actually get the money for an apartment of her own. She currently resides in that same apartment, working part time along with showing off on the streets to help supplement the money she already earns. She knows not what her familiar actually is, but she knows of Hamon and the rise of vampires. She herself has never had an encounter with one, as far as she knows, but she is always on guard, having armed herself with throwing knives, which she keeps hidden on her person at almost all times, while carrying around a long oak staff, ignoring the looks she gets from carrying it around with the knowledge that she was very capable at fighting with it. She is prepared for whatever may come her way, hopefully those preparations will be enough.
Techniques:
Offensive:
[B1] This is Gonna Hurt: A combination of physical weaponry and Telekinesis, This is Gonna Hurt is triggered by Amelia making some motion to launch the twelve throwing knives she has hidden on her person into the air, be it all at once, or through one being launched at a time. As the blades fly into the air, Push and Pull exerts telekinetic force on the blades, catching them in midair and directing them at a target. On command from Amelia, Push and Pull applies a large amount of force onto the back ends of each blade, launching them quickly in a linear direction to attempt to impale an enemy multiple times at once.
[B1] Are You With Me: An attack based on the use of Push and Pull's secondary ability, Are You With Me is an attack that has a suspicious lack of Amelia's stand being present, as she raises up both hands, a spark igniting in each as fireballs grow in her hands, growing rapidly into fireballs about the size of an average softball. She can launch each fireball in a different direction for half the strength of an uncharged attack, or take the extra step to raise her hands above her head, mixing the fireballs together into one fireball the size of a basketball, which she can then aim at a target and launch, dealing damage at a normal rate. Despite this, no matter which form the attack takes, the fireballs can only travel in linear directions.
Support:
[SU] Helter Skelter: An ability that Amelia employs to dodge attacks, Helter Skelter is an ability that allows Amelia to focus telekinetic energy into her feet, allowing her to launch herself away from her position, allowing her to dodge attacks up to 100% of her Soul Sync, however, if the attack surpasses this number, she will take full damage.

[PUSH AND PULL]
NAME SOURCE
NAME SOURCE
Push and Shove by No Doubt
STAND TYPE
Special/Ranged
STAND ABILITY
Push and Pull, as its name would imply, is the living embodiment of the ability of telekinesis, capable of using it to any of the ends Amelia desires, be that manipulating objects, altering the direction of an attack, allowing Amelia to walk at impossible angles through pressing down on her body just enough to keep her suspended, or even simply exerting its telekinetic power through sheer force, Push and Pull is a very powerful combatant with its telekinesis. However, one look at Amelia's stand would be able to tell one that that isn't all Push and Pull is capable of. In fact, one look at the stand tends to reveal its secondary ability, which Amelia tends to use more often, despite the ability being a bit weaker in strength. Push and Pull, while primarily based in telekinesis, also has a secondary ability: Fire Creation and Manipulation. While weaker in power, this ability is just as varied in scope, allowing Amelia to utilize preexisting flames to attack and defend, or create her own to fight with. And, should it be necessary, Push and Pull can act as a source, the braziers growing from its shoulders turning the red of normal fire before emptying and being directed wherever Amelia needs them to be before igniting with blue flames again. As a whole, Push and Pull is a very adaptive Stand, and one that is very fitting for a woman who would call herself a Witch.
APPEARANCE
TRUMP CARD: Shout at The Devil
Like all Stands, Push and Pull has an ability that can easily be called its "Trump Card". This ability combines the destructive force of Telekinesis with the cleansing burn of fire to create an omnidirectional blast of telekinetic force that ignites anything in its path, the exception being Push and Pull and Amelia themselves. At close range, this ability will send most objects that aren't melted or fused to something solid flying away, the immense heat causing the air to create heat ripples, scorching most objects. If used in a sandy area, the sand that it runs over will more often than not be turned into glass. However, this only acts at x2 of Amelia's SS, despite its destructive nature.
