APPEARANCE |
Soft-skinned and voluptuous, Nirvana is an olive-skinned woman of Indian descent. While relatively slender, her bust is large, her hips wide, and her muscles strong from years of ascetic training. Long, dark hair frames her youthful face, braided in places with the back styled into a large ponytail. At times, she lets it down and styles it differently, but the ponytail is the most common. Her hair is typically treated with oils, shampoo, and conditioners that, apart from smelling good, conduct Pranayama (her term for Hamon) well. Small, pale green ornaments hang from each side of her head. Her black eyes are framed with black eyeliner and mascara, thick lips glossy and wet-looking. A small, golden stud piercing is set into her left nostril, shaped like a lotus flower.
In her typical attire, Nirvana keeps her ears unpierced and wears a green-black collar around her neck, a spring green top, cerulean pants, a scarlet sash, a pair of golden sandals, and numerous golden accessories. The thin, gold-trimmed shirt ties into a golden ring at the center of her breasts, her short sleeves ending in golden armbands. A golden necklace hangs from her neck, sitting right above her largely-exposed cleavage. There is a large circle in the back of the garment, a beautiful, black tattoo of a mandala lotus at its center.
More golden bangles sit on her wrist with a chain connecting them to the rings on her left hand. The slender digits end in long, glossy fingernails. Her slender, flawless skin is exposed at the midriff, an ornamental, golden piercing set into her naval. The cerulean pants are double-layered and bootcut, the thin outer material partially transparent as it nears the end, but the inner lining keeping things opaque above the knee. Her red sash is tied to her right hip, trimmed with gold with tiny gold circles hanging from it. The golden, high-heeled sandals she wears have serpent motifs (the snake is Nirvana's favorite animal) and reveal her painted, red toenails.
When on business trips, she'll often don a less revealing attire with a knee-length, spring green dress and white jacket. The dress has a decorative black belt near its waist, tilted lower around the left hip. Co-centric white and black circles and small, black rectangles with white dots above them in the style of an "i" surround the bottom of the dress. The low collar has a black outline with similar circular designs within, leading down to three rectangles - white, black, then white - down the center of her chest ending just above the navel. A pair of black, platform-heeled sandals with spring green decoration, fingerless, black gloves and black wristbands complete the attire. Circular, spring green earrings hang from her ears, one on the left side, and three, progressively smaller circles on her right.

HISTORY |
"I will eliminate every last cursed, bloody vampire from this world." — Nirvana
Nirvana was born in the city of New Delhi in the decade before the founding of the republic. Part of a wealthy kshatriya family, when she came of age she married Thayil a good-hearted young man she’d known from childhood as arranged by their parents.
In time, Nirvana and Thayil grew to love and care for one another greatly. He gifted her with a beautiful golden locket, a beautiful red gemstone set within it.
Thayil developed an interest in archaeology, particularly in that of the Aztec Empire. During his travels abroad, he brought home a mysterious Stone Mask.
However, in his efforts to unlock the mask's secrets, he was murdered by his colleague, Weiland, and his blood fueled the man’s transformation into a vampire. Nirvana bore witness to this horrific act, fleeing Weiland's pursuit and burning down their home in the process.
Just as she thought herself free from the vampire's pursuit, he emerged from the wreckage, regenerated. As Weiland moved to attack and kill Nirvana, a small, elderly woman stepped in and saved her life. This woman, Li Wen, destroyed the nascent vampire in an instant.
Witnessing her incredible power, an awestruck Nirvana thanked the old Tibetan woman for saving her life. In truth, Li Wen had tracked the location of the Stone Mask to Thayil, but arrived too late to prevent his tragic death from occurring. Li Wen left the younger woman with the knowledge that more vampires existed in the world, but offered her an opportunity to fight them by putting her old life aside to train as her student.
Nirvana accepted the offer, unwilling to let her husband's death go unavenged and determined to prevent the same tragedy from befalling other people. She accompanied Li Wen to her home in the Himalayas. The journey was harsh and tiring, the high altitude made breathing difficult.
Over the next five years, she studied the woman's martial art, a power known by many names derived from breathing and the power of the sun. To Nirvana, it would be known as Pranayama, but most know it as Hamon. She also taught her Lama Pai, an aggressive martial art that emphasizes dodging and ruthlessly striking at full force to destroy an opponent's limbs.
At twenty-eight years of age, Nirvana had become proficient in her art, but her training was interrupted when a coven of vampires discovered their secret training ground. Though they fought valiantly, Nirvana was forced to flee for her life while her master perished holding back the vampiric horde.
Over the next few years, Nirvana hunted down the members of this coven, traveling across the world on their tail and taking out their members one by one. Her journey finally ended when she tracked down their leader, Novoselic, in Transylvania. There, she engaged the vampire in a dire battle at his personal castle. Injured and inches from death or worse, she awakened to a new power.
A golden figure appeared before Nirvana, six arms spread with weapons in hand. As the vampire attempted to strike, it struck him down and sliced his body into pieces, allowing Nirvana to purge him with her Prana. Looking upon the guardian summoned by her spirit, she realized that, at its core, was the red gem from within her locket.
Her vengeance won, Nirvana decided to carry on her master's legacy and to continue her pursuit of vengeance. For the last two decades, she has hunted down vampires relentlessly using both her Prana and her Stand, Heart-Shaped Box.
To fund her trips, she has created a rather popular perfume line, "In Bloom", created from a unique breed of Indian lotus that grew in the Himalayas around the hidden valley where Li Wen lived. Apart from having a pleasant scent, the essential oils of the plant conduct Prana incredibly well.

TECHNIQUES |
Offensive
[B1] Angel's Hair: Nirvana channels her Prana through her hair, stiffening and sharpening it, then whipping it about like a bladed weapon.
[B1] Magnetar Pit Trap: Removing her shoe, Nirvana stamps her Prana-charged foot against the ground, sending it through the earth and making it erupt upwards from beneath an opponent's feet.
Special
[SU1] Baby's Breath: Nirvana presses her lips against someone else's and breathes into them, sending her Prana coursing through their body. This technique is primarily used to heal and resuscitate others, but is harmful to vampires.

SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT
Nirvana coats her body in a Prana-conducting, lotus-scented perfume.
This perfume wafts around her immediate area, allowing her to lash out strikes of Prana away from her limbs by channeling it through the vapor.
Visually, this resembles a jet of solar energy that shoots from her limbs, adding a range of approximately five yards to her physical blows.

Portals and Teleportation
Heart-Shaped Box allows the Stand and its user to open portals within its range, allowing for fast movement across an area.
The portals can be as large or as small as the user desires provided they are within their range, but larger or numerous portals require greater focus and energy.
The Stand can also warp its body to another area within its range, though it cannot teleport its user in this fashion.
Heart-Shaped Box's body conducts Hamon well, allowing Nirvana to channel its energy through the Stand's portal-assisted punches.
